Our Cooperative
We work directly with a farmer cooperative on Banda Island. No middlemen, no auction-floor mixing of lots — we know which family harvested every bag.
How the cooperative works
Around 180 families pool their harvest into the cooperative warehouse. We pre-finance harvest tools and pay above the auction-floor price in exchange for first refusal on the crop.
Impact
Stable farmer income, replanting of aging nutmeg trees, and a guaranteed buyer for every grade — including BWP that often goes to waste at auction.
